Photo of Bryan
Board - Community Organizer
Bryan took his first dance steps in the Bollywood and Latin scene. Later he discovered Lindy Hop at the Winkel van Sinkel and got hooked on swing. From Blues to Balboa, groovy or slow on fast beats, he dances it all, and it shows because he likes to combine dance styles. Typical Bryan, he likes to dress in style, on the dance floor you can recognise him by his dandy hat and suit.
Board - PR
Starting out with a serious fear of dancing, but a genuine love for vintage clothing and jazz music, it wasn’t easy when she began taking Lindy Hop classes in 2018. It didn’t take long to overcome that fear, supported by the lovely community and inspiring teachers. Now, dancing is her biggest hobby, and you can find her at almost every social. Her daily life she spends in a botanical garden, and does PR for SiU.
Board - Secretary
Starting her dance journey as a child, she has tried many different dance styles over the years. She started to learn Lindy Hop and Charleston in 2018. Since then she is working on widening her repertoire with other Swing Dances. She likes to dance on any tempo, but has an unquestionable preference for fast songs. In her free time she's helping out the board as secretary.
Board - Treasurer
At first not knowing how to step on a beat, and replying to invitations for a dance with "are you sure?", Remy went through a wall of shame when he started out. Now he has been doing Swing Dancing for longer than he dares to admit. For Swing in Utrecht, Remy keeps a careful eye on the finances in the role of treasurer. Outside of dance, he protects the world from software bugs.
