Did you know that our entire organisation is run by volunteers? From day to day operation to big festivals, everything is handled by our lovely team of volunteers.
Do you have some extra free time? Would you like to be one of those wonderful volunteers? Then this is your chance to do that!
If you join us, you’ll be able to participate in volunteer only events, such as this January’s ‘nieuwjaarsborrel’, and you can get extra benefits in exchange for your invested time and efforts.
Benefits:
Depending on the tasks you do, you’ll get extras, from free entrance to socials to a free block of classes. For example:
- in exchange for organising a HopSpot, you can attend a whole month of HopSpots for free
- as a HopSpot coordinator, you get serious discounts on a block of classes
- for joining the board, taking part in the decision-making concerning the future of the organisation and handling a bigger task, you’ll get 2 free classes per block
Open functions within the board:
- Secretary: Your task will be handling the info-mail (answering questions, helping people find information, connecting the incoming messages to the right volunteer group), and taking notes during meetings.
- Volunteer coordinator: If you love to talk to people, this task is the best for you. Our volunteer coordinator is the main contact for all our volunteers. You make sure all of them know what their tasks are, and they have the knowledge and tools to do it. You participate in organizing volunteer events.
It is possible to share a function within the board between multiple volunteers. If you have a very good friend with whom you’d like to do a task together, let’s talk about it!
