New website, new ambitions

Our new website is finally, finally live! We’ve been working on this thing for quite a long time. Our goal is for this website to become our new hub of information. Yes, you will still be able to find information on Facebook, Instagram and Lindyhop.nl, but on this website it will be clearer and more to the point. We hope that if you want to check out when and where our next HopSpot or Tea Dance is, you go to our website and find all the information there. No need for a Facebook or Instagram account to be up to date anymore.

But that’s not the only thing this website offers. Because we would like everyone to be able to delve into the history of the dances we do, we have also made our own (absolutely imperfect) Swing Dance history page for you to inform yourself. We have included all our sources and hope you would take your time finding out more! We also have a little page on our own history, about our teachers and our board members.

Also we’ve been collecting Album of the Weeks from Peter and Julia, our teachers for the Lindy 3 and 4 classes! Every week Peter and Julia provided the students of those classes with an Album of the Week and a super interesting history lesson providing us with some context on the music and dance scene back in the day! Please enjoy going back and reading and listening to that, if you like!

Most of all, we’re just really happy to see this updated and we hope that this will be an upgrade to how we present you with accurate information!

Thank you very much,

The website team
