He saw a video about Swing, started classes the next day, and never looked back. Loving the joy of Lindy Hop and speed and craziness of Shag, for Ilja improvisation, creativity and theatrics are at the core of his dances. He will always aim at entertaining and suprising his partner and the audience. Or, as he says: ”If my partner has laughed and shouted out in surprise, it was a good dance”.
